There are 22 different filters available to use in Super Mario Odyssey and 11 in Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury. In Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury, logos are available for Super Mario 3D World, Bowser's Fury, and both at once.
The player can then move and rotate the camera around, apply filters to what is on screen, and add the logo of the game they are playing to the shot before taking a screenshot of it using the Nintendo Switch's built-in screenshot function.
At any time during normal gameplay, pressing on the left Joy-Con or on the D-pad of the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller pauses the game and activates Snapshot Mode. Snapshot Mode is a special screenshot mode featured in Super Mario Odyssey and Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury.
